Help with Hampton Bay fan?

I don't really know what model the fan is. It came with the house, by builder I suppose. It is just a plan fan and light combo. There is no remote to it.. nothing fancy. I had my fan on high, and all the sudden it just stopped working. It just came off as if i turned it off. The lights on it work completely fine. If I turn the wall switch on or off, the fan jiggles just a tad. Has anyone had this problem before and know how I can fix it? Thank you!
