I really wish I could help you make an animated avatar, but the program only gives 20 free tries... and I've used all of those tries up... =(

If you're interested in getting this program, it's called 'Easy GIF Animator". It's really simple to make animated avatars using this program, and I really hope that my post helps you out... ^^

I am using the CS3 photoshop, but can't seems to save the image.
In the program, the image was 'animated', but when I save and open again, it is a still image.

Any idea why?

You need to do gif rendering. Make many layers and compress into one. Or, just download a .GIF maker. They are quite easier to use.

But then, it has no advanced option like Photoshop. You also need to have multiple layer/tween copy.
