Where is the best place to go on holiday, as a couple?

I have never been skiing but me and my boyfriend went on a sun holiday in May, we went to Gouves in Crete, it was great, there was loads to do, the area was LOVELY, the locals couldn't have been nicer, were 21 and 22, it was mainly couples there, just ten mins walk there was a place with alot of night clubs, but we didn't go to them. It was so nice were going to try go twice next year.
