How and what to talk about more.?

hello people i am a vary quite person who wants to talk a lot more. i skate but when ever i want to talk about it i don't know what to say. its weird but i just don't, and when ever i want to keep a conversation going i don't know what i should say back after they say something besides like that's awesome, cool, etc,. then when i want to start a conversation i don't know how to start one. i would really like to have more friends that skate cause even thought all my other friends are awesome they don't skate.
