Tips to become a web designer......

Websites are written using a mark up language called "HTML". Although you could in theory make a website using just HTML it would be awful therefore if you'd want to become a web designer you need to know a bit more than HTML. You would probably want to know CSS which styles your web page and makes it so much more professional (It sounds like another language but really it's just an extension to HTML). That's all you would need to know to make a web page but if you'd want to make your webpage dynamic you'd need to know something like JavaScript.

Well, there are a lot of people who are in need of someone to do their websites. You can create your own as a sample feature of what you can do. You can actually start promoting your talent to people who you do know personally. If you are that good, word of mouth is still the best advertising method in the world. Also, you can Google companies and site who are in need of your talent and knowledge. I personally learned a lot about website building just through Google. I used iWeb and was able to build my clinic's website practically from zero knowledge. So, the access you can have in order to find customers and sites that can help you promote your talent is out there. So, don't worry too much about it yet, finish your school and hone your craft, the rest will just follow as long as you have the passion for doing it.
