How to take tablets.......?

I can't have any milk, wholegrains, eggs, tea or coffee within 1 hour before taking and 2 hours after taking.

I have to take an iron tablet every day. They are the size of m&ms, which is small, I know, but I find it really difficult because I've never taken tablets before.

Yesterday I took my first one. I wrapped it up in a baked potato skin and finally swallowed it after a lot of tries. I didn't even expect to swallow it when I did.

I couldn't swallow it tonight. I tried water, no water, chewed up banana, but it didn't work, and my dad told me off because I couldn't do it.
