Good summer photography?

Hey, I'm studying a photography course at college and our new topic has just been announced- Summer. I think this is a great topic to photograph, but I'm struggling with finding some research for the topic. I wondered if anyone can recommend any photographers/artists/or even one off pieces that look into summer. This can include events that happen over the summer, sky lines, the beach, etc etc etc.
