Email Marketing Newb

I have been in internet marketing for several years, however, email marketing is one area I have never tackled simply because it does not fall under my list of specialties and therefore has always been handled by those not in my range of communication. I am very knowledgeable of marketing terms and language but am looking for a good place to start teaching myself.
