Any reason you know for '' Thoppukarnam '' before the God Vinayaka ?

This was started by Sri Mahavishnu. Once Ganesha in one of his playful moods took the Chakra from the hands of Mahavishnu and put it in his mouth.It is very rare that one can get back what has been taken by Vinayaka. Mahavishnu was in a quandry. He could not use force or threaten Pillayar his nephew. So he thought of a ploy to keep Gajanana in his elements and yet get back his Chakra.
