Do law firms take age into account when taking people on for training contracts?
I left school not knowing what I wanted to do and worked for a while. I went back to education and started A levels when I was 18. I'm now doing a 3 year Law LLB but might extend it to a 4 year course with a year of studying a foreign legal system abroad. If I do opt for that, I would be almost 26 when I complete the LPC. How would prospective employers look at that? Would I be prejudiced against? Do law firms prefer to take on people who are younger?
