[Announcement] General Meeting on 14 October 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [plz refer the 1st post]

Dear AniMaC BOD and Members,

Please take note that there is a coming General Meeting on Tuesday, 14 October 2008, 4pm at B101/B102/B103/B104 [not sure] of South Wing will having general meeting. The meeting is relating on our coming event. Those who joined the group for each department are compulsary to attend the meeting. Of coz the members plz attend the meeting as well. Thanks

They will discuss about Bon Odori on March. You want to combine Monash's with UCSI's??

YAY! In F&B department. Hope all goes well with the budget......

The 'Bon Odori' event will be on the 5th of March.

For the 'Games' department... hopefully we're able to manage the materials within the budget given and I also hope that we'll be successful in making this particular event happen.


By the way, Animeotaku_san... you also joined the 'F&B' group?

Nope we having it in March so 2 month earlier i dont see any problem with that? haha

well.......bon odori is one of the known jap festival, which suppose to worship the ancestors...means your bon odori motive is worshiping ancestors??

It can be celebrated for other reason. It was originally made as that, but things change.

We can change the odori into something that is uitable with out Malaysian culture or values.

Anyway, I wonder if we could do the bonfire? Like the Gozan no Okuribi...

If want to have bonfire, do in a very open area. and make sure got a fire extinguisher or two, in case if all goes wrong. But so COOL to have bonfire.

Other than just burning a bonfire, what about we circle or even dance around the bonfire???

Yeah. Also, a folk dance might be nice.

But one question : which folk dance? the traditional or modern Japanese type???

1st prize for Lucky Draw : 2 tickets for a trip to Japan to a performance by Ayumi Hamasaki with backstage VIP passes for 3 days and 2 nights.

2nd prize for " " : A camp out in Aokigahara for 3 days and 2 nights for 2, with all the other yokais that live nearby.

3rd prize for " " : A trip for 2 to a Hot Spring Spa somewhere in Japan for 3 days and 2 nights.

4th prize for " " : An "All you can eat" voucher for 2 to dine in Sakae Sushi.

5th prize for " " : 3 kg worth of wasabi (not for 2, of course).

(The above are just fictitious suggestions. If this is made reality, I wonder how much money our club actually do really have. In fact, everything above is not-even-so-very possible at all to fulfill.)

but the prizes u suggested is quite... hmm..
it's too hard for us unless we got any famous company would kike to sponsor to our club then
