How to clean hardwood floors?
First vacuuming, then with a damp mop go over area to clean and get dirt off. You never want to saturate wood floors with any kind of water/cleaning product. This will cause the floors to buckle and will cause any finish to start to wear and crackle.
Vacuuming and using a dry swifter dust mop is the best every day way to keep clean. Damp mopping is for extra dirty floors and in general once or twice a week cleaning depending on how much traffic the floor receives. Hope this helps!
