How to Do a 360 on skis?
I'm gonna have to disagree with more speed is better. Also you shouldn't need to wind up very much for a 360. It's only one rotation, more than one and yes you will need to wind up a bit. The easiest way to learn how to spin a 3 is to find a small bump you can get a few inches of air off of. Hit it going across the hill if possible, this way if you yard sale you wont slide too far down the hill. As you come to the top of the bump, plant the pole in the hand of the direction you want to spin, and do a jump turn while popping straight up with your legs. You'll need to adjust your speed after you get the feel for the bump, but keep looking over your shoulder in the direction you are spinning. If you stop looking you will stop spinning. As you get about 3/4 around spot your landing and focus on that. once you get the spin down with the pole plant, work on removing the pole plant. You don't have to start big, you'll be a more rounded skier if you start small and then go bigger. Hope this helps.
