Why can I not watch Netflix on my Macbook?

When I go to my Netflix homepage and choose the 'Play' option to watch Netflix instantly I get sent to a page that tells me my OS is not supported. It then has a list of minimum system requirements that my Macbook meets. I have Bootcamp and Windows 7 on that partition which does allow me to watch Netflix, but I would like to also watch it on my Mac OS as well. It says that I should be able to and I have not been able to find a solution that will allow me to watch Netflix on my Mac OS, please help.
