New boiler installation oil leak from oil line?

I've just had a brand new boiler installed.

I noticed oil spots below both the oil filter at the oil tank as well as the the valve that connects the oil line to the boiler.

A technician came to check it out and wiped it down - thought it might just be residual oil from the installation. I've left absorbent pads below both points and still see fresh oil on the pads.

So this looks like a real leak but maybe this is normal for a new installation?
